DETROIT (AP) — United Auto Workers members have voted to authorize a strike against auto supplier Delphi, adding a threat to already tense negotiations between the two sides.
The UAW said Tuesday that more than 95% of members who voted approved the strike authorization.
I have been predicting for a while now that as GM slides into the abyss they would sell off parts here and there to Toyota. This could very well be that final blow that sends GM to an overseas owner like Dodge. Wouldn't it just be shame to see GM sell out, shut down, retool and reopen with non union labor. Hell I might even buy another GM auto!
