The 65-year-old Dr. Milton Brindley has been under a federal investigation for more than two years. His office on the river town’s Main Street was raided by federal agents in June 2007 along with Brindley’s historic and stately home, named White Hall.

A grand jury sitting in London, Ky., indicted Brindley on multiple charges of dealing drugs. including eight counts of distributing a controlled substance. In convicted, Brindley faces up to 20 years in prison.

The federal government is also seeking the forfeiture of more than $35,000 found in his home office and Hummer H2 and pornographic videos – with titles such as “Bare Behind Bars” – seized from Brindley’s office. Authorities said he would sometimes trade drugs for pornography.

Irony is the tag line of the movie.

Wonder if anyone will hear the Doc screaming?
